What the actual fuck? I hated both these characters. He has three kids with a dissimilar adult female and she is the most insecure "I'mma exist mad at you merely never tell you lot why" bitch on the cake. Worst.
Aside from my personal dislike of the two, I kind of like the formula to this series. Information technology's perfect for those nights I can't sleep but need to read something quietly on my kindle until I tin. These are brusk and fast and mostly entertaining, I'd liken it to

These are curt and fast and by and large entertaining, I'd liken it to reading Star Mag vs. Fourth dimension Mag. Sometimes you but need to enjoy your fair share of fluff. Plainly my fluff comes in the uber specific sub genre of BBW Paranormal Shifter Smut. Whatevs. Similar what you like and do y'all and all that jazz.

Neal (H) loves Naomi (he told her and so, Carly has witness this) and has iii cubs with her (the youngest is 6 months one-time). Carly (h) doesn't know about the cubs when she discover Neal is her mate, she but avoids him because she finds Neal to exist too much of a human-whore to exist her monogamous mate. vi months later...she mated Neal coz she couldn't control her horniness and had gotten herself pregnant. Later on discovering that he already has 3 cubs

Subsequently discovering that he already has iii cubs with Naomi, she was hurt but forgives him immediately coz he said the magic words, "I dearest you". Hmm...I lost involvement at this point and really (?!!), I cannot exist more than disgusted with her AND him. Poor Naomi, to love and have children with the f*ckhead (Neal) is not punishment plenty; she got kidnapped and institutionalized when she was mentally f*ck to detect the whole 'shifter' world. So information technology is officially best-selling that both characters take been to these shindigs, though the girl had never successfully been knocked upwardly. Him on the other paw, has been knocking boots with a human being woman for 7 freaking years. Don't worry, he stops banging her when he meets Carly. Woo-freaking-hoo he abstained for six months. The two take multiple interactions where the h has brought up the blonde being effectually, simply never makes the effort to tell her that she is the mother of his three, t-h-r-e-e, children. This only comes up more than than halfway into the book afterwards the adult female drops the bomb on the h herself. Afterward the h is kidnapped, and and then is the other woman, Naomi. Enter evil person that had never been mentioned before, and since information technology was a romance novel kidnapping- the seemingly mandatory attempted rape scene. Of course help arrives, the day is saved, and Naomi is placed in a mental hospital for having a mental breakdown over everything. Don't feel bad though, her kids are now with their father and his truthful mate.
And so much unnecessary drama. If I want to see ii baby mommas fighting over a man, I'll scout Jerry Springer. ...more

h has hang ups and doubts bec clearly H is not mate cloth , just they give in to their instincts and claim each other - and the H calls h "darlin'" subsequently they have sexy time. h is understandably turned off. h gives H some other chance, this time they keep a date and then H's baby mama blind sides h, informing her of OW & H's 3 kids together. Kids H never once mentioned in the 6 months h&H knew each other.
Suffice to say this was not my cuppa tea

And when h finally succumbed to him and they mated and had sex activity he chosen her darlin' like all the others... And she knew about the kids because their mother told her just seconds she realized that she's pregnant!!

I am starting to run across a blueprint here, all male shifters desire to spank their mates (horny and kinky furry mates?! - I am not sure if prior to fifty shades I've encountered so many men willing to spank on a whim....) and all the females involved are curvy and lush.
For some reason this story didn't appeal to me...the mating was postponed for lack of communication and childish mental attitude on both sides and when it happened...I was non excited. Information technology was like I've read it earlier only happened to other characters.
The plot that has been building up in the story and the sense of humor are making upwards for the rest even though some expressions are getting overused.
I am hoping the side by side story has something unlike to offering.

The characters are exactly as I thought they would be from the previous book. Carly is sassy and sweet, with a fragile soft eye, and Neal is your typical clueless frat male child who never grew upward. Good thing the queen steps in or this mating might have been stalled forever. The author kept the jokes and danger coming with a good for you dose of romanc

So, I stumbled across this series of books purely past accident one twenty-four hour period. Shifter books are at the acme of my list for genre of books I similar to read. The matter is for the nearly part the books are about wolf packs. After a while when you have read a substantial quantity of them they start to get a little similar. Then, I decide Before I get to my review I just wanted to preface it this with a notation. If your under eighteen, don't like fibroid language or hard sex activity these books and this review are not for you.
Then, I stumbled across this series of books purely by accident one day. Shifter books are at the elevation of my list for genre of books I like to read. The matter is for the nearly part the books are about wolf packs. After a while when you have read a substantial quantity of them they start to get a little similar. So, I decided to exercise a bit of a search and run across what other type of shape-shifter books were out at that place.
That was how I found the Ridgeville Lions. The start matter that caught my center nearly these books was the covers. The colours were centre catching and the men on the cover FUCK HOT!!!!
I am going to acknowledge I read this series of books out of order. The first volume I institute was Brawl of Furry, which I started reading before I realised it was a serial. I was extremely intrigued by a volume in which a panthera leo and rabbit get together.
When I got to the finish of Ball of Furry, I immediately purchased He Ain't Lion, considering I just wanted more. You lot're King of beasts had been on my TBR pile for a few weeks now merely it had to wait as I had a few other books I needed to read for reviews. When the opportunity came up to review all iii books, I jumped at the chance.
These books a hot well written romances. If you lot like your sex activity on the more erotic side, these are definitely for you. That ways that these Lions fuck and they fuck hard. That doesn't hateful there isn't a practiced dose of emotion wrapped upward in there, too as a prissy dose of humour.
In book 1 we run across Alex O'Connell Prime of the Ridgeville werelion pride. Unbeknownst to him his mate is about to walk into his club and turn his life upside down. Maya who is only looking for a one-nighttime stand gets a lot more than she bargains for when she can't resist the pull she feels to the sexy gild owner.
In book 1.5 Alex and Maya are, for all intents and purposes, a happy couple ruling their pride but when Maya finds out she is meaning her hormones send her into a flake of a tail spin that ends with her fucking her mate hard and fast.
In book 2 nosotros get Carly'due south story we met her in book 1 she is Maya'due south best friend and a wererabbit to kick. She is trying to avoid the mating telephone call of Neal a fellow member of the pride but he pounces when she least expects it.

I went back and forth near buying this. It's five capacity plus an epilogue, which, for me, makes the $three.99 price a flake of a stretch. Notwithstanding, the heroine is a bunny shifter and the hero is a lion shifter. The excerpt was intriguing and BUNNY/LION. I've read other books by the author and while they weren't the Best Affair Ever, I liked Kyle's writing style. And so I went for it.I don't regret spending the coin, more often than not because the heroine, Carly, is a spitfire. She holds the hero, Neal, at arm's length until she's sure he's going to exist what she needs. Despite that show of independence, yet, this is very much a Fated Mate Syndrome book. At that place'south no emotional development and Neal doesn't actually 'grow' as a character. The addition of another affiliate or two (specially at the end) would accept benefited the book greatly.
I oasis't read the previous books in the series, simply I'd read the synopses and that was pretty much all I needed to know.
Ball of Hirsuite ends on a bit of a cliff-hanger which, presumably, will lead into the adjacent book. Due to this, I did feel similar things weren't quite resolved or settled, even though, technically speaking, there weren't whatever loose threads left hanging.My communication is to arroyo the volume equally a novella of sorts. I enjoyed the book because I had low expectations and I basically wanted to be amused for a bit. I did savor the fact that Kyle touched upon the weight deportation issue of switching between a human being and a bunny. In addition, while Carly says she weighs 160lbs, her weight is not continually harped on or an 'issue.'

This 1 was better than the start one. I'm loving the plot and am glad I stuck with it. This 1 does end in a PLOT bewilderment. Which doesn't bother me because the next book is already set up for me to read. I volition say that I personally recall these books have too many sexy times. Don't get me incorrect, I don't hate information technology but with a book this length and that many sex activity scenes, it takes upward a ton of story time.
